What's it for? This tool displays candlestick charts for over 50,000 instruments (shares, indices, cryptos...), with the option to add classic technical indicators: moving averages, Bollinger Bands, RSI, MACD, volume...
How to read the results:
- Each candlestick summarizes a day: green = close above open (up), red = down. The wicks show the highest and lowest.
- The buttons 6 Months → All change the duration of historical data displayed.
- The Indicators button opens the list: check one and it draws on (or under) the chart.
- Each indicator has its own little "?": click on it to know what it measures.
Where to start:
- Tapez un symbole (ex. : AAPL) et cliquez Charger.
- Choose a long period (1 year or 5 years) to see the underlying trend.
- Activate a 20-period SMA to start: price above the average indicates a generally upward trend.
